Hi Ladies!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed lots of turkey and pie.
I definitely needed a break from all this and that's exactly what I got so that was nice.
I had my first ultrasound today since starting the stims last Friday. They found 10 follicles ranging 10mm to just under 15mm in size. They said that is good so far and I go back on Sunday morning for another u/s and bw. I am hoping to trigger that night and hopefully ER on the 27th.
Good luck babY0807 and LAIVF!
Good luck to everyone else. It looks like next week will be a big one for us!!!

Hello ladies!!

LAIVF: Congratulations on your growing embies!!

I have a question for you...were you totally under for the ER? Did they do an IV sedation? Just wondering what to expect! Getting a little nervous!!

BABYO807: Good luck on your ER!! Sending lots of baby dust your way! :D

TinaO: Don't over worry yourself! It is out of your control. Try to relax and think positive thoughts....invinsion all 16 follies growing to maturity. Think about how happy that will make you!! Remember....it only takes one good egg to bring you that bundle of joy!!!!

I agree about the shots! My butt feels like I have been doing a buns of steel workout for the past 3 days straight! (Without the results!!) My muscles are sooooo Sore!! I am ready for these shots to be over and to move on the next stage. However those progesterone and oil shots do not sound like a good next stage!!!! I have to keep reminding myself to focus on the positive and why we are doing this!!
Hope you had a good acupuncture session!

More in minute ladies..my DH is about to trip our breaker....

Sorry!! We are having a Griswald moment @ our house....We hung Lights on the outside of our house this year for the first time....and we are having a few technical difficulities!!

Anyway.......

4ourbaby: Those progesterone and oil shots sound horrid!! As I was telling TinaO..my butt is already killling me!! I think I will ask RE if I can give my shots in an altenate location. That is a good idea about switching from your arm to your cheeks!

Great news on the Follies!! Try and keep your thoughts positive! I know how easy those negative littel buggers can kreep there way in to your head!! Remember we are all pulling for you and a BFP!!

I go in tomorrow for u/s and bw..hoping I have been doing a good job on nourishing my follies...it has been hard, but I have really been trying!

Lots and Lots of luck and baby to dust to all!!

Hello- I had my retrieval this morning and I am pretty disappointed. I ended up with 7 mature eggs and only 3 eggs came out of that. My husband overheard the embryologist say some fragmentation but that they looked good. So I am just praying we end up with fertilization and that they live. As the RE said this is probably why I have not been getting pregnant. 21/2 years of fertility treatments and I just have bad eggs- there aren't drugs for that. So I am sad. I guess it could have been worse and I would have none. I am still groggy from the meds so I am going back to bed.

BabyY0807: I am so sorry to hear about your dissapointment. I don't mean to sound like a chippy cheerleader all the time, but don't give up hope yet. You have 3 eggs. It only takes one egg to do the trick. I will be praying for you.

I went in for my u/s and bw today.....My follies are not growing @ the same rate...My lead follie is now a 17 1/2 but the others are only between 10-14!! My Estradiol went from 312 on Wednesday to 1029 today.....They want me to come back in tomorrow for another u/s and bw....i will keep everyone posted.

lots of hugs and luck to all!

Hello all! Well, we went this morning for u/s and b/w and it looks like things are starting to take more. I have 19 follies in total, but probably 9-10 that are mature or will be shortly. I go back in tomorrow after one more day of stimming. They are hoping the ER will be Wed. The doctor felt good about what he saw, but I am still a little nervous. There are still follies in the 11-13 range that I am hoping will grow larger.

MBG - sounds like we are progressing very similar. When do you think they will do your ER?

Baby0807 - I know it is easier for me to say than you to believe, but MBG is right!! It only takes one! :D Did they say how many they will be put in? Rest assured that we will all be wishing you the very best!! :)

itsgottawork - You sound like you are doing great!! 10 follies ranging in size from 10-15 mm is awesome! My problem is I still have some small ones that are not doing too much! Good luck - keep us posted!! :)

4ourbaby - thanks for the advice on the progesterone shots. Ugghhhh - I don't look forward to those!! 20 follies - yeah!! Sounds like you are indeed having a great cycle!! ER is right around the corner!! We will all be thinking about you!!!

LAIVF - so, you did your transfer, right?!?! Hiw are you feeling??

dancinnancy - how are you doing since the increase in drugs? Hopefully they have not all taken off! I bet they are all doing well, so keep us posted!! Hope you had a good Turkey day!

Hello everyone!

TinaO: I just got back from u/s and BW....My lead follicle is 20 and the others are still trying to catch up....my nurse told me today that with my lead being so large and my estradiol level being so high, there is a good chance that there are eggs in the follies measuring 15-16....she thinks we have 10 good chances for eggs. :D She said my RE will probably have me trigger tonight or tomorrow night meaning my ER will be Tuesday or Wednesday!!! It is getting down to the wire! I am excited....nervous and anxious!!

It is amazing how much those little follies can grow in one day....just continue to trust in your RE!

I wish you all the best! This week is going to be a big one for all of us!

lots and lots of Baby dust to all!!

Hi Girls!

Wow, this week IS going to be a big one! Here's hoping that itsgottawork, MBG, and I all have ER on 27th!

itsgottawork: Congrats on your follies! Woohoo!

MBG: I will be under general anesthesia (through IV) for the ER. It was the same way for my first one. And I have to say, I enjoy it! It's the one time I truly have uninterrupted deep sleep and I wake up groggy, but very relaxed. Enjoy the time that you don't have to stress about this whole process!

GREAT news about your follies! I am so thrilled for you! I really hope they schedule you for Tuesday the 27th!

tinaO: Wow...19 follies! Yeehaw! And if the doctor feels good about what he saw, then you should too! Don't worry about it. If the doctor is happy, then you are happy :)

Also, the one good thing about the progesterone shots...like I said...is that it makes all the other shots easier!!! Ha ha. We'll get through it together!

Good luck and lots of hugs to all! xoxoxo

Hi ladies,

MGD - keep your chin in....I seriously think the technology has gotten so good they can achieve almost anything!

I am going thru the dreadful 2 WW - and over analyzing everything! We put back in 2 on the 5th day. The embryologist came in and told us why he picked the eggs he had and off we went. My husband got to watch on the wide screen as they placed them inside my uterus....this whole process is really facinating.

I hope everyone is doing great & getting to relax a bit during holidays!!!

Hello once again!
You would think I have nothing better to do than post messages on this thread!! I just have limited people I can talk to about all this...and it is getting so exciting!!

My IVF nurse called me back this afternoon...my estradiol level went up to 1700. My RE feels I still have some growing room so I am to stay on my stims tonight and tomorrow. I go in for another u/s and bw tomorrow morning and will almost postively trigger tomorrow night......leading to a Wednesday (28th) ER. I am ready ready ready!!! 4ourbaby: that rest you were describing sounds mighty good!! :D

I am having to juggel my work schedule around this next week and will be putting in a lot of driving time over the next 2 days.

If I am unable to get back within the next couple of days.....I wish everyone the best of luck!!

Itsgottawork and 4ourbaby: lots and lots of luck on your ER.....May you both be blessed with LOTS of eggs!!!!

Good luck to all!

Great to see everyone has such a great attitude!!

MBG - Good luck girl!!! Sounds like your plan is in motion!! Yeah! We will be thinking about you! We will do retrieval on Wed also so hopefully we will both have good results to share that day!

LAIVF - I just bet this is going to work for you! A 5 day transfer is awesome!!! Good luck!! We will be here to help you through the 2 ww period!!! :D

4ourbaby - I appreciate your message. You are right - if the doctor feels good, I should, too! I have got to stop over-analyzing everything! Hard not to do when insurance doesn't cover this for us so we had to drop the big 10 grand. Oh well - got to just think positive! :)

Love to all of you!

Hi Ladies!
babY0807 - I am sorry to hear the results weren't as you hoped. But, it sounds like there are 3 good ones and that is promising. As one nurse said to me this morning, it only takes one. Hopefully the 3 have become fertilized. Is your transfer scheduled for Tuesday?
LAIVF - when is your 2ww over? I keep asking when my ER can be scheduled just so I can calculate when I can test. The wait is already killing me so I definitely feel for you.
I had bw and u/s this morning and now have 16 follicles. The nurses say everything looks good and now I have to go back again tomorrow morning. They are hoping ER will be either Wednesday or Thursday. I am getting anxious about it and am sure this will be a long week. I keep telling everyone I can't wait for Christmas this year, but that is really because all this waiting will be over with by then. :)
tinaO, MGB, 4ourbaby, good luck on your ERs this week! (I hope I didn't miss anyone. It is great so many of us are going through this at the same time!) I can't wait to hear how they all go. Then it is just the transfers and 2 more weeks until we get our news! Yahoo! Please let me know how the trigger shots go. That is the next item on my list of things to be nervous about. :)
Stephanievt97, how are things going? I hope you are feeling better and that your cycle is progressing well.
Dancinnancy, how are things going with your meds?
Good luck and baby dust for everyone!

Hi Girls!

Sounds like we're all truckin' right along! I have been on gonal f for 9 days now. I have b/w and u/s tomorrow morning & I'm thinking I might be triggering tomorrow night or Tuesday night. But, then again, I'm not a Dr, so I guess I'll have to wait to hear from them tomorrow afternoon.

I don't know about you girls, but I'm exhausted! It really hit me today, I took a two hour nap this afternoon.

Looks like we all have an exciting week ahead of us!
Baby dust to all & much love!

Hi Girls!

Does anyone miss Odie? I hope she's doing ok!

LAIVF: Your husband was allowed in the room with you? That is great. My husband always has to wait far away from me! Be proud of your 5 day transfer...that is so great! You have strong embryos! When is your test date?

By the way, maybe it's just the hormones, but I had to laugh at your last two posts. You sent messages out to MBG but you kept typing MGD which just reminds me of Miller Genuine Draft! So either I'm getting goofy from the hormones or from the lack of alcohol. :)

MBG aka MGD: You sounded so excited in your last post and it really made me feel good! It makes me be excited too, so thank you :D Well, the 28th will sure be a big day! Thank you for sending blessings my way...right back at ya!

tinaO: Yahoo...the 28th! There could be 3 of you that day! I'm sorry to hear that insurance is not covering anything for you. It makes the whole cycle even more stressful, I know. We'll just be extra positive and pray extra hard for you :D

itsgottawork: Holy Cow...16 follies! Yeah! Don't be nervous about trigger shot. I just did mine an hour and a half ago. Not bad at all....nothing to worry about :)

dancinnancy: I am so exhausted too! For the most part, I usually feel fine on these shots and then boom...it all hits me and I walk around so sleepy. I'm glad it's not just me!

I wish everyone continued success in this cycle! Lots of love & hugs! xoxoxox
