My name is Lisa and I am new to this board. My dh and I are thinking about doing a FET cycle in the early part of next year. I do have question for those of you who have done a FET cycle. Did any of you have your embies flown from one state to another? If so how does the whole process work? Did the embies live, were they transferable, and did you have a succesful pregnancy?
TIA, for your help.
Lisa
Lisa 32, Dh 36, DD 11, DS 15 months. Ds concieved via IVF after 3 years of trying, 3 losses. double ectopic, and loss of both tubes. Trying for 3rd sometime next year.
We had our embryos stored in Minosota and had them transfered to Ohio, it doesn't effect them in any way.
Our clinic took care of all the arrangements. As should yours. We just had to pay for the shipping and storage.
All our embies survived the transportation, when we thawed the first lot, 2 out of 3 survived, 2nd attempt 3 out of 6 survived, and now we are thawing the final 4 on Friday.
As you can tell we haven't had any success yet, but that has nothing to do with the transportation. It's all down to my lining and maybe genetics.
The transportation is completely safe......
Good luck with your FET
Rachel
