Pink Discharge with Progesterone????

Okay ladies I am really nervous. About two weeks ago (7weeks pg) I had a slight Pink discharge for about an hour. Not enough to show on a pantyliner, but noticed when I wiped. Last night (9 1/2 weeks pg) The same thing happened again. Nothing red only pink. Did anyone have this happen cause of the progesterone suppositories? Any information good or bad would be appricated.

I did have that (light Pink and light brown dicharge) until I was around 12 weeks. I also did ask on here about that and you would not believe the amount of ladys that had the same thing. I would cry every day thinking somthing bad was happening. I would say dont worry but better said than done. You are going to worry about things your whole pregnancy. Hope things are ok with you.

I was a spotter with both pregnancies - this time until 16 weeks. It's probably nothing, but you must get it checked anyway - if only to put your mind at rest. For me it wasn't prog. as I stopped taking them as soon as I got the positive (with my son) - but it was implantation bleeding. With Sam I had brown, red, clots, cramps - you name it....

It's amazing how common it is, so try not to fret - and as I say, it's worth giving the hospital a call just to ease your mind...

Hi Honey, sorry you are spotting again... My IVF Nurse told me that those darn progesterone suppositories can irriatate your cervix and cause spotting... just great isn't it!! Like we really need something else to worry about. So most likely the spotting is coming from your cervix and not your uterus... I remember I had a pinkish/orange with the first cycle and I called and the nurse told me what goes up must come down... nice right....This is why I hesitated on using them on my 2nd IVF, and if I ever do another cycle I will not use them... I freak out enough as it is and don't need anything adding to it!! LOL!! Hope this helps a little, when is your next scan??

Hello,

I too had it a few times during the first trimester. Wasn't blood just pink. The first time I rushed to the hospital, they examined me and and gave me a scan and everything was as it should be. I never bothered the next couple of times.

If you're really worried then call your midwife/hospital.

Just wanted to say thanks everyone. The first time it happened to me I too went to the ER and everything was fine with my scan.

I may call the OB clinc and on Monday and see if since this happend I can worm my way into another scan before Turkey day. It would ease my mind so much. If not I have to wait till a week from Wendnesday.

And it was making me crazy waiting for the next scan with this going on. So they got me into the acute OB clinic today at 2. I know everything will be okay and it will make me feel much better for Thanksgiving.
