1st IVF, didn't respond to meds...took 10days provera.

Can someone tell me what is going on with my body? I just started all this infertility stuff and it's just more bad news. Here's a quick overview of what I have found out in the past 3 monhs:

Unicornuate uterus with only only "functioning" fallopian tube
Stage III endometriosis
High FSH tests(10.5 and 17) premenopausal
IVF is my only means of getting pregnancy
1st cycle terminated b/c ovaries didn't respond (Repro/Gonal F/ Ovidrell)


My doctor immediately gave me 10 days of Porvera 10mg (after quitting my cycle) which should have started my period. All I got were headaches, sore boobs and one day of very light spotting. I JUST turned 34 and have found out all this is wrong with me. Has anyone had this happen? I want someone to tell what is going on. The doctors are reluctant to tell me much. I need to talk. This is a lot to absorb.

Is there something I can do to help myself? I am going to try a different medication cocktail in January. If I don't respond my doctor wants us to consider an egg donor. This makes me very sad.

Hai!. Iam also on my try of my first ivf cycle. The same i didint respond to the medications. I have developed only two follicles of size 9,9 on my day six of the procedure. The doctors are not convinced about my response. They have changed my medications menogan 8 amp in the morning and evening. I am hoping i will start to respond. It sometimes haPPEN they say. Lets keep our fingers crossed. bye.
