Should treatment for PCOS be conductied before IVF?

I started on Metformin before anything else got underway for my PCOS. But, I also had a septum that had to be surgically corrected as well. Started Metformin in Feb, had ER in June. Getting ready to do a FET this month. Still on Metformin, also a testerone blocker this round to really supress everything.

Hi there,

I started Metformin for about a year before IVF for PCOS and continued the Metformin through IVF up until 12 weeks of pregnancy. My doctor said it was important to continue treatment to reduce risk of m/c that lots of PCOS women have. Hope this helps.
