Hi Sue .... gosh what shocking news for you. I can imagine you must be absolutely gutted and horrified. I know you'll think that this squashes your chances of a baby but as you know there are more avenues for assistance with this type of problem than ever before. I'm no medical expert I just wanted to comfort you if that's possible and remind you that things can be done which can still result in you having a baby to complete your family.

Thinking of you and your DH. Talk to your clinic about what options there are for you - it's not a dead end by any means.

Lots of Love - Jo.XXXXX

Hi Sue,
I'm so sorry to hear your news and I just wanted to let you know that there are ways to solve this. I know many clinics are getting good success rates with donor eggs so this maybe something you could consider. I currently live in the US and I have heard of one clinic here getting up to a 90% success rate with this.

Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Missy

Hi Sue
I am in a simular possition , I had 2 x ICSI's and both times didnt respond awfly well to The drugs , I was then put on a short Protocol but I had to wait till my FSH showed a 10 but on the last 2 occasionsI have had a 12.3 and a 16 so I have decided to call it a day as far as my eggs go , I am now having donor eggs and have a donor lined up , I know that you must be absolutly numb with worry but there are ways so please dont give up as they can help. The care Clinic at Manchester are crying out for Recipients which is unusual as they are normally crying out for donors! They do lots of egg sharing scemes which is a brilliant idea and their succes rate is high.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Trace x

Thanks Girls for all your messages .Went to work today but came home early spent the day in a daze. The hard part is that our consultant want me to keep taking the injection 6 amps untill friday when I have another blood test and see him in the afternoon ,we are not sure why, as there was no response so far at all. Well we have the drugs so I might as well stick them in my bum !!
Hopefully we will find more out on Friday I,m already writing questions down
Thanks again and best wishes to you all
Sue xx

Hi Sue,
Just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear this news. Its almost beyond belief that you get to that stage then this bombshell! I too had a very poor response to the stims and the cycle was abandoned.
I am not too hopeful about it working next time either. Still, after a few days getting over the shock you will think more clearly and begin to look at other options I'm sure. Please don't lose hope, there are lots of alternative routes.
Take care
Debbiex
