Fall 2007 Babies

I thought I'd start a new thread for those of us that just found out we are pregnant and will be due in the Fall 2007! I am 5 weeks and 2 days and I just had my first US which showed one sac. I'm anxiously counting down to my 2nd US next Tuesday!

I also just got my BFP...I'm waiting for the results of my 2nd beta test today...I had a 211 at 11dp3dt...It's very exciting andnice to have someone athe same stage as me...

Congrats to you both! I have now joined "The other side!" Can't wait to actually talk about being pregnant instead of trying to get pg!!!!! Just got results back and am in daze!!!!!!

It's still hard to believe. Right now I just feel very bloated!!! I am afraid my stomach feels so like it's just twice it's normal size. I'm not the biggest person in the world so there is no where for this pg to go but out! I hope my distended stomach eases up a bit.

Druiett and Kimberly - Congrats and I look forward to sharing the next 9 months with you. I am so nervous about my next us as I have a history of m/c. I hope to see the heartbeat on Monday! That will help ease my anxiety. I am getting tired around 7pm at night (just want to go to bed) and I've started having some cravings at night as well. I can't get enough of salsa and last night I wanted a cinnamon roll - I never eat these. Not sure if it's the pg or just my mind playing tricks on me!

I can't wait to hear more about your betas/ us results.

LORI...I feel the same way about the u/s...until then i don't think i will relax...mine is tuesday the 13th...my first beta was the 29th and it was 211 then on the 31st it was 442...we're very excited and a little nervous as we put 3 embies in...i keep thinking the saying "be careful what you wish for" ha ha ha...I feel great so far (except for not fitting in my pants already...is this a side effect of the meds? KIMBERLY you said you feel bloated also right?) i really have no morning sickness or cravings, actually not even much of an apettite at all...i've been forcing myself to eat 3 meals and drink my milk every day...the worst part is I actually just caught a cold yesterday so i'm really stuffed up and a litte cloggy today...i look forward to hearing how your both doing

Druiett, Congratulations - great news about your beta - over 400 is great! I only had my beta measured once- it was 235 10dp5dt. When is your 1st US if you know yet?

I have not been too bloated, just a little. I know that it is very common.

My most recent development is that I started spotting so the nurse told me to go home from work and really take it easy.. she said it happens with 50% of her patients and it doesn't mean anything as long as it's not too heavy or include cramping. Still, I wish I was in the other 50% that doesn't spot. I'm trying to keep a PMA!

Keep up the PMA!!! from everything i've read the spotting it is soooo common..they also have me on restricted activity..(no exercise or sex especially...)Monday will be here before you know it!!! I'll be thinking of you...My u/s is the 13th...It's just like they put us on another 2ww..

PMA. . PMA. . .PMA. . .We have to be like the little engine that could around here! I'll take that any day over another 2ww. That was so hard.

I just read in a book today that spotting is normal for a variety of reasons and nothing to be concerned about as long as it is light spotting and your Dr. is aware of it. I'm sure it still makes you nervous. You are in my prayers!

I'm really going to try to be aware of my body but not as focused on it as we had to be during the IVF treatments. The joy now is in seeing our little tadpole people grow limbs and searching the baby name books. It may be too early and a bit scary before the 12 weeks but I would just rather relish in everything good about this and if, God for bid, something happens, I can try to remember all the good in it.

I still can't believe we are all talking about this!!!!!! I just feel like screaming!!! If I wasn't so tired I'd jump up and down!!!! I'm so excited for us all!!!!!!

This may be TMI but is anyone else constipated? I have ate my weight in lettuce and fruits but to no prevale.

AHHH YEAH!!! TMI ALERT AGAIN...but i've been constipated since stimming...my RE said its normal and the magazines and books i've been reading mention its par for the course over the next few months...
LUCKY US!!! I do take a Colace tablet about once a week to help...it's sold over the counter and my RE is the one that told me about it...

I've had it too... the constipation. TMI. I eat a few dried prunes each morning and it seems to help. Too bad we are on restriction of coffee as that normally helps. Druiett, good to know about the tablet as an option.

Thanks again girls for the PMA boost. It really worked and I feel so positive right now. I love that you are looking at baby names... why not, we are pregnant after all! Can you believe it?

Hello there!! I'm here, still can't believe it! thought I'd pop in since i just got my official bfp yesterday. i should be doing my 1st scan on thursday or friday, I'm so excited! I'm due in October and I'm so looking forward to halloween birthday parties in the future.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. Surreal isn't it? Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year so I couldn't be more excited for us to be having little autumn babies! It still doesn't seem real to me yet but hopefully it will sink in soon! I'm so happy for you!
