Caz,

I think it is too early to be period pains. Believe me from someone thats been pregnant a few times, BFP's feel the exact same as AF's. I would say its implantation cramping, I really would.

Hiya Caz,

I am feeling quite well. Thankfully I have some symptoms which helps to reassure me that something is happening. I seriously lacked anything on previous pregnancies and I miscarried them. But we all know that every womens body is different and they don't react the same way. I am keeping positive but also keeping feet firmly on the ground as I know too well how quickly you can fall off cloud9.

I know you will be fine. Its very scary for you I am sure not knowing what is going on inside you. If I were you I would be glad you can feel things so early. Definitely too early for AF though. You have 8 days left honey.

Caz it's soooo nice to see you and with your littleones back home too im pulling for you ....loads of prayers your way

As for the period pain like Lisa say's it's exactly the same as being pregnant, all of my sister's and cousins all had period pain during their pregnancy's
one of my cousin's l lived with while she was pregnant used to come in my room every night saying there's something wrong with the baby because im going to get AF it's really strong ...she never did and Chloe is a healthy little 6 year old

i think it's easy to forget the same muscle (is the womb a muscle?) that's used when we get AF is the very one our babies use for growing so it will feel similar...oh and when it's my turn in a few day's remind me i said that please

wishing you luck and a big baby belly...Aunty

Lisa - sorry to be such a moaning mini - but still got af cramping - not big pains but that dull ache - no imp bleeding though - something that is different than in my 2 previous bfns is that i am really bad tempered and snappy - my tolerance level is 0 at the mo! Still keeping positive though!

Hello CAZx,

We're barely one day apart in our 2ww, so I know what you're going through. But believe me, from the experience I've gathered by seeing so many women here going through their 2ww, there is no way to know what's going on until you have a blood test or an ultrasound. Some had cramping and had BFN. Some had cramping and had BFPs. Some had bleeding and still became pregnant, and some got spotting and their period afterwards. Some had period-like bleeding till up to 4 months in their pregnancy.

Do NOT trust your body. It's sending you all kinds of misleading messages right now because you've been taking all kinds of meds, are still taking meds that cause AF-like symptoms (a sick joke, I know), and because you're anxious and emotional.

The best thing you can do is set your mind on other things and keep yourself busy. Do pleasant activities. And remember that progesterone will cause cramping (especially if you take your doses 6 hours or less apart). I felt an AF sensation even before my transfer, and I've been feeling it in varied intensities since. It's the progesterone!

Alas, there's nothing you can do at this point other than wait. Thinking about it and checking your body for symptoms only increase the chances you'll find something else to worry about. I may sound a little tough by saying that, but believe me, I say the exacting to myself every day. :D

Hope that helps! Hang in there sweetie, and enjoy the weekend!

Caz - I hope you don't mind me jumping in - but I think we are in exactly the same boat - I have had AF symptoms for days now and am in a really dark mood (just how I usually get before AF) I have had no implantation bleeding either. It is so hard to stay positive!
The lovely ladies that have replied to you are right though and we can't give up hope. My DH has said that it ain't over till we pee on a stick!
Wishing you a BFP!

HI there charlie! Nice to see you around! :)

Not everybody gets implantation bleeding. I sure didn't get any. If it were that automatic, people would actually rely on that more and know they're pregnant much earlier (given that it happens around day 17-19 of one's natural cycle)... and well, it's not the case, is it?

Take care sweetie!

Hi Girls
I do know exactly what you are saying - thanks for being there - its just nice to come on here and vent negative thoughts rather than vent them to dh - he is staying very positive so dont want to put my negativity on to him. Ive been out with dh tonight and had a little boogie!! only drank pineapple juice its ok- felt good to let my hair down. Anyway - thanks again and night all

Hi

I only had one embryo transferred because it was my last frozen one. I was so sure that AF was on its way, I had really bad AF pains and I nearly didnt bother doing a pregnany test at the end of the 2ww as I thought it would be a waste of time.

I am now 34 weeks pregnant :D so AF pains dont mean the worst :D

Good luck to you all

Hi have been reading all the posts and just wanted to put my support in too - I had AF "niggles" 9 days before AF was due (natural DIUI) and I'm sure it was implantation as I am now 6.5 wks preg! Then I had nothing for a few days then the AF smptoms started - sore boobs, definite AF cramps and the day after AF was due, some extremely light spotting. I cried the whole morning, didn't go to work but continued to have AF pains. When AF didn't come that afternoon I did the evil HPT which ws positive! So hang on in there.
