I'm going into my 3rd cycle as the first 2 did not produce any mature eggs. My doctor says this is extremely rare and we're doing an LH trigger vs. HCG trigger this time. Has anyone had this happen to them? Were there any successes?

By "LH trigger" I think you might mean Lupron (or any other GnRH agonist) to induce an LH surge after a GnRH antagonists cycle? They can also give LH doses, but you'd need a LOT of it, and it's more routine just to get your pituitary to release what it has stored up already.
This works in getting good eggs. Although it's not often used in low responders.
I know it's frustrating... maybe this can help. I read an article about a month ago in Star Ledger, a New Jersey statewide newspaper, that researchers in UK have developed a way of retrieving inmature eggs, develop them outside the body, when they are ready for fertilization, they would inject sperms. The main benefit of this is that much less stimulation medicine is needed.
I had two retrievals and the 3rd one failed to produce enough eggs. Sometimes you need to give your body a break so it can readjust itself.
