spotting after 2 pos test results

Post by SLP65 »

Hi...I had my second IVF round w/retreival 1/30 transfer 2/2. I had a pos test result 2/12 and another one 2/16. Spotting started 2/13 and hasn't stopped. I didn't think I would get a pos. on 2/16 but my IVF nurse said all was good. Now I'm freaking out because I'm still bleeding and I got a neg./faint pos w/a HPT this morning. Anyone w/any advise or words to help calm me would be greatly appreciated.

Sandy~ Unfortuantely, I don't know anything personally about spotting but at least your nurse wasn't concerned. Do they know you are still spotting? Regardless, I will be thinking of you and praying that your little baby sticks! Think good positive thoughts and don't entertain negativity. Can't wait to hear good news from you!

Thanks for your good thoughts. I spoke to the IVF nurse 1/17 and they said bleeding/spotting happens to alot of people but, that's what they said w/ my first IVF and then I lost the pregnancy. I have my next test Tues.
Good Luck to you!

I think they consider this implantation bleeding. Has your RE scheduled you for a second beta just to confirm the hcg levels are continuing to increase. This might ease your worries. If the bleeding continues or gets worse, call your doctor, otherwise, I'm sure you're just fine! Congrat's!
