Okay, so we had a bad ice storm/snow storm the day I was supposed to start my first IVF cycle. I was to be at the doctor's office by 7am. I tried, I really tried but it was so dangerous to drive I ended up turning around and coming back home. My doctor's office said I could come in the next day but that it was possible that my hormone levels will have changed in that 24 hour period. Well they did. My day three had typically been 8.5 and on day 4 it was 12.6. I was so hurt. Oh well. What're ya gonna do right? Anyone else have this problem? If so, mind sharing your story/outcome? Thanks.
Hello......my first IVF cycle was cancelled after 5 days of stims in early Feb 2007. Needless to say, I was very upset and disappointed. Ironically, I had to drive in blizzard conditions for my u/s and blood work too! It took forever and then later that day they called and gave me the bad news. I thought to myself, great - I drove in a blizzard for nothing!!!!! Anyway, there are many of us on here that can relate to the rollercoaster of emotions that you're going though.
Thanks. I will be starting my next cycle try next month (April). Let's hope this goes better than last time. Something told me not to do it in Jan/Feb because we always get a lot of snow, ice, etc. during those two months! Please keep me posted.
