Burning Injections??

Post by mmc »

Hi Girls,

I just started taking Menopur and Bravelle mixed together and they seem to sting and burn really bad not only during the injection but for at least an hour afterwards. Anyone have any helpful hints?? I am going to start taking Ganarelix in a few days and I was wondering if anyone knows about its effects?? Burn, stinging?? Thanks M

HI mmc,
I took Bravelle. It burned when going in, really bad. But only for about 10 or 15 minutes afterwards. I called the doctor and asked him about it and he said it was normal. He also told me not to inject it slowly because that makes it worse. He said to inject it really quick. He also said it was okay to numb the area with ice first. That helped a great deal. Maybe try that.

Sorry, can't help with the Ganarelix. I never took it.

I hope it gets better for you. When you have your little one, you're not even going to remember the shots.
