spotting during the 2 ww wait

I was wondering if anyone has had a little brownish spotting during the 2 ww? It is not much at all, only when I wipe and go to the bathroom. It is not fresh blood. I am praying that it is not AF! I test on Friday! Thanks for any reply--Jess (sorry for all the details but I am really concerned.)

Stay positive I wouldn't be worried as you say it isn't fresh blood, could be due to implanation?!! Try not to worry...

Dont worry its implantation bleeding and its completely normal. I had it on my ivf cycle last year but unfortunately I miscarried after 7 weeks but it is a very positive sign!!!!

I had my transfer a week ago, would I be getting implantation bleeding now??? Shouldn't that have happened already?? -Jess

Hi, I had my ET (only 1 frozen egg) on 22/2 and had brownish discharge on D3 for 2 days. I was quite surprised cos it seemed a bit early. I failed my 2nd attempt (3 fronzen) in Jan 07 in which I had brownish discharge on D5 for 3 days. Don't know if there is any association between the light bleeding and the sucessful rate. Anyway, just take it easy and keep our fingers crossed.

By the way, I have been having light cramping in the afternoon for around 4 days now. Is it normal? Anyone feeling the same way too?

Ladies,

I don't think the brown indicates anything really other than old blood. I have had it on my first IVF attempt when my AF was due and then it disappeared and reappeared and I miscarried at 7 weeks. But I know a friend that also had it and is pregnant and doing well. So it shows you that the brown stuff doesn't mean you are pregnant and doesn't mean you're not.

I didn't have any spotting on this pregnancy at all (so far) so who knows. I think different bodies react differently to the embryos so please don't think the worse. I was so positive in my 2ww and I am sure it helped me get my positive.

I'm in 2WW and had the little cramping like period was coming with no spotting. what about a little white discharge???

Thanks for all the replies! I guess it ended up that it was implantation bleeding because I am PREGNANT!! My husband and I are still in shock and cannot believe that IVF with ICSI worked on the 1st try. We are very fortunate,, I now pray that everything continues to go well.

Gals it is our first time to have ivf,my eggs were collected on 7th mar,and i hadon 12th 2blaso transferd.My next test is on 26th i am having this brownish spotting from today.I asked a nurse what could be the reason she just said ,i hope yuo are not having ur periods ................i felt like hitting her,but she dont know the hell we all go thro,anybondy out there who can help?[/b]
