clinics in the south east/london

Post by yurskiy »

I recently had an unsuccesful ivf cycle at The Chaucer Hospital, Canterbury. I was wondering if anyone knows how to choose the best hospital. I am 38yrs old. I have found out he success rate is not good at the chaucer. Should i be taking notice of this, or should i change to a hospital with high success rates? Can anyone reccommend a hospital?

Hi Yurskiy

I'm at Holly House in Buckhurst Hill (otherwise known as the Essex Fertility Centre), not sure if it would be too far for you to travel but they are rated as 5th best in the country. Might be worth looking at?

Hope this helps

Hi

I was unsuccessful on my 1st attempt in September, also at the Chaucer, but have just had a successful second attempt. I hadn't even looked at the success rates before this go when I was halfway through my treatment and I have to say I was slightly concerned by them. However, it worked for us this time.

Others may disagree with me but I honestly believe that its all down to luck.

Good luck on your next attempt.
