Hi,
I am here to encourage everyone that it can work on the first try. We are strictly male factor. We had 19 eggs, 12 fertilized, Ended up with 8 blasts. Transferred 2 on Feb. 22. Found out Friday BFP++++. First U/S will be next Monday to see if it is twins... We did 4 IUI's and all were BFN! I am here to say don't give up because I really did not think it worked. I had very AF like cramps and even some brownish spotting... So keep praying and don't give up.. It can happen on the first try! Best of luck to all and lots of baby dust! --JESS

Hi marika,

It's so good to hear that you got BFP!! Congratulations.

Just one thing, I also had ET on Feb 22 but my blood test is on Mar 8 (coming Thur), 15 days after the transfer. Which day did you get your test? Does Friday means Mar 2, 9 days after the transfer?

Yes, I tested on Friday March 2nd... I also went back again today to check the numbers again (3-5-07) She said everything looks great! Keep me posted.. Good Luck! Marika

I also want to encourge people. I had my first IVF/ICSI done in febuary. Found out 3/1 BFP, and my levels are doubling like they are suppose to be. We have our first u/s to see how many 3/22. So It can happen. After reading - posts and some +, I was scared to know what it was going to be. But things happen for reasons, and no matter what you do it is out of our hands. SO everyone keep thinking positive. And good luck.

It's so good to hear all the positive outcomes of IVF with ICSI we are starting our first cycle, now we have a EC date of 3/26, it's so exciting so just wanted to introduce myself !!

This was my forst IVF/ICSI and today I got a BFP! Way to early to start to tell everyone, but wanted to share the news on the board. After 7 failed IUI's, I am proof this works and with NO symptoms at all.
