Hi everyone! I just recently got my positive HPT. I have my 1st Beta this Tuesday. This is my third IVF attempt. The first two I both m/c at 8 weeks. I went in both times for my u/s and they could only find the one sac. I have no history prior to IVF of m/c and have two healthy children from my previous marriage. Anyway I am really scared but hopeful at the same time. I should be due November 21st.

I'm not worried about my beta's because the past two times they went up just as they should. It is the u/s that has me scared. Has anyone else experienced this and went on to see a heartbeat at another attempt?

Congrats to you all. I am so excited and feel so blessed to get a + for a third time.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

It's understandable that the u/s is where you are getting nervous. Sorry to hear about the m/s's. I am very impressed that you are so upbeat after such a struggle. Makes me think this will be a lucky baby!!
I hope everything goes well for you and the baby makes it the whole term! I'll be praying for you!

Come join the Fall baby thread! Congrats again!!!!

First off, congratulations! Well done!

I had a missed m/c at 8 weeks in my first cycle - genetic testing demonstrated it was caused by chromosome abnormalties. I was told the vast majority of these early m/c are caused by that, although there can be some other reasons as well. I know waiting to get through the ultrasounds is agony, though, once you've been through the m/c. I still get nervous before my ultrasounds even this far along. I wish you all the best and lots of patience in waiting for the first scan.

Good luck to you!
