First IVF- never been pregnant

Post by SAGal »

Hi, I am 37, and I have made it through my first week of Buserelin - next blood test 20th March. High(-ish) FSH and E2, potential tubal factor, unexplained otherwise.
I would love to get in touch with someone who is in a similar position.

Sorry, I wasn't in the exact position so I can't comment but I've done ivf so I know at least partially what you're going through. I just wanted to show you a bit of support and wish you all the best.

HI SAGirl,
you are in the right place to chat with people in similar positions, I started down regging with Buserelin on 20/02 and started stimming with Puregon on 08/03 so am slightly ahead of you but not much!! Hope the drugs are not making you feel rotten.....
Enjoy your journey & hope you get all you wish for..

Hi K

Drugs aren't too bad. I just feel very tired and exhausted. But so far I haven't had some of the scary side effects they warned about. But let's hope the next lot are kind to me too.

It's probably a good thing that we are renovating our house at the same time, so I don't have time to think about anything.

Cheerio
