nausea

Hi girls

I found out I was pregnant with my second IVF cycle last week. I am just wanting to know about nausea and sickness. I felt nauseous just after 4 weeks, especially in the afternoon. I thought this didnt start until later on in pregnancy maybe 6/7 weeks. I am 5 weeks today and feeling worse as every day goes on.

I was just wondering whether early symptoms are an indication of twins. My HCG level today 21 days post egg retrieval was 2180.

I think it depends on the person. I had terrible nausea only at about 7 weeks for 3 weeks and it has pratically disappeared this week but everything is ok with the babies. Hope it doesn't get worse for you honey because it can be so awful when its all day long.

Cat--I've heard that getting morning sickness that early is (or can be) a sign of multiples. I know that I felt fine until about week 6 or 7 and then had 2 months of misery. Everyone kept telling me it would get better, but I didn't believe them and then-Wham-I woke up on Monday of this week and finally feel human again.

How exciting that it might be twins for you! Here's hoping that you have a smooth pregnancy! (And get used to people saying that it's a good sign that you're sick---I think everyone and their dog said that to me!)
