IVF and birth defects

Hi...just freaking out a bit here. I read some reports of research indicating that IVF babies have increased rates of neonatal complications as well as some developmental problems such as autism, cerebral palsy, etc. Maybe it is associated with the fact that there are multiple births...would love to hear from others about their experiences. We are more concerned about Autism. We are planning IVF with shared eggs this July.
