I've have 4 ivfs and 1 FET. I'm wondering at this point what my chances are at getting pg? Everything looks good....The RE's are confused. Been tested for everything!!!!
Wondering if I should pursue a FET---got some in the freezer..
I've had 3 goes of fresh IVF cycles and 1 FET,(4 in total)so not as many as you.
My advice to you is if you can get through this emotionally and financially, which is hard i know, then stick with it. It is so worth it when you finally get that BFP,there were times when i was injecting myself(im scared of needles!!)or when i felt particulary down or i got BFN after BFN,that i felt like giving up,but i always picked myself up,dusted myself down and carried on.
Im now 22 weeks pregnant!!!!
Not sure if this will help, but feel free to ask anything if you want or need to...GOOD LUCK in whatever you decide..
My best success was on this last attempt #5. I am nearly 13 weeks pregnant with two bouncing babies in my tummy. I did get pregnant before but miscarried, probably due to chromo abnormalities.
I wish you every success..
One my cyber friends Donna99 just had her gorgeous baby boy on #5 and Tony and Maria from NYC are also pregnant with twins on their 5th attempt.
I think no 5 is the charm...don't give up on yourself.

#5 for me! I'm currently 9 wks preggo w/ a singleton! My history - IVF #1 - cancelled, IVF #2 and #3 - BFN, 1 FET - BFN, IVF #4 BFP, however miscarriage at 20 wks due to placental abruption. IVF #5 -- new RE -- went out of state to SIRM St. Louis. There's always hope if you are willing to go through the emotionally, physical, financial pain of all of this....
Have you tried a second opinion -- I loved my old RE but felt that she had done everything she could for me.
My wife got pregnant on attempt number 6! To be honest this was our last attempt as it was very hard on my wife and I did not want her to keep suffering the emotional pain of failures everytime. It goes to show that if you keep on trying eventually you will succeed.
After the failure of attempt 4 my wife decided to have more examinations and tests done to see if the clinic had missed out on anything and it turned out they had! She had internal TB which was affecting her womb and other areas and thus causing the IVF failures. She then had treatment and after 6 months it had gone. The next attempt failed - We feel it was due to the fact we tried too soon after her treatment. Then with the next attempt she fell pregnant Last August my wife gave birth to Twin girls Aleisha and Makayla
So my message to you is, DONT give up and if you haven't I would recommend that you get some tests done like my wife did just to rule out anything and to make 100% sure there is no underlying complications that are preventing success.
