Success over 35 years with mulitiple ivf cycles?

Post by denee »

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some hope to go on with cycle ivf #5. Heres my story:

I'm 39 years old. Went through 3 surgeries - One to open my tubes, one to remove my tubes and a mymectomy to remove a fibroid on my uterus.

ivf#1 - failed (RE surprised)
fet #1 - failed (one embryo out of four made the thaw) bad try
ivf #2 - failed (RE surprised but then blamed it on egg quality so switched RE;s)

ivf #3 - failed chem preg (blamed on fibroid - removed) did immune testing..
ivf #4 - failed (RE really surprised!) did hydrosalpingm (water uterus test) DH order for SCSA test..

FET #2 ???? deciding

Everything always looks good. We even had 5 embryo's to transfer last time...?seems unexplained. I have average to good egg quality with plenty that fertilized with out ISCI.

I'm wondering will this every work? We do not have insurance coverage so this is a costly journey ---building debt. I'm sure you ladies understand but.....

Any words of advice or wisdom much appreciated.
