Congrats on your BFP!!! I bet you are so happy! I don't know any more than the average Joe but I think the trigger shot can mess with your reading on a HPT if done too early. I would retest after it has been 11-14 days to be 100% sure. Having said that, I still strongly believe that our attitudes and poitive thoughts are a huge part of a BFP. So, just keep up your over the moon joy.
Good luck and I hope your little beanie is getting all settled in for the next 9 months!!!
Take care~

Congratulations. I started doing the HPT's at 7 dpt and it was negative until day 10 so from my experience I would say it's a positive. Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks so much for your replies i just cant believe it . This is my first IVF cycle and i am so excited that i didnt think it could happen for me and DH.
Me and DH have been together 15years i have pretty much been doing HPT for 10years and NEVER once seen two lines(a positive) that i think i checked it at least 50 times and had DH check it about the same. You make me feel alot better.
Thanks again

n77- I took an hpt on day 9 and ten post 3 day transfer.(yesterday and today) I had negatives before hand. On 6,and 7 days post tranfer I had a negative. so the HCG shot was out of my body. Typically it takes about 10 days for the shot to get out of your body. I am still in shock!!!!
So you are probably 15 days or so past trigger shot day, so you are probably BFP!
