why don't men understand?

Post by Estelle »

Hello,
I have had an ICSI which was positive and then miscarried. I have started to feel slighty better until today. I had a scan to check if it was all gone!
My husband, to make me feel better wants to go out and have lunch when all I think about is to hide between the sofa and the duvet to cry. And now he is angry because I am not willing to make an affort.
Should I make an effort when I feel like crying? Should I? But I feel I can't or I'll be crying in front on others. I would rather go out on a good day not a bad one.
Am I that wrong?
Regards.

So sorry Estelle...big cyber hugs first of all. I'm sure your DH is doing the best he can. Maybe getting out will be the first step in healing. Sitting out on a patio for lunch some where nice maybe? Make a deal with him...if you cry, you both leave. And who cares if you cry..it will be people you will never see again so don't worry about what they are thinking.

Hope you find a way to work through the pain. Many good thoughts your way.
