bleeding on and off

I haven't been on in a while so I apologize if this topic has been talked about alot. I'm just looking for a little reassurance. I am 12 weeks along with twins and have had bleeding/bloody mucus (sorry if TMI) on and off for the last 6 weeks or so - sometimes I go a week with none, and then there it is again. Some of it is accompanied by cramping, some just a little vaginal throbbing (again, sorry). I have had several ultrasounds, including one 3 days ago, which have all showed that both babies are right where they should be. I'll have the nuchal translucency test on Friday, so hopefully that will show the same, even though I started bleeding again last night. My OB cannot explain the bleeding, and now that every u/s has looked good and none have even shown any reason for the bleeding, I am feeling better about it and I don't stress out that much when I see it.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had this throughout their twin pregnancy and did everything turn out okay. When pregnant with my 5 year old, I had no cramping after the first week or two of finding out (just the regular stretching pains, etc.) and never had blood until I delivered him. I've become neurotic with this pregnancy due to my history over the last three years, after losing two!

Heidi, I have had the same problem throughout this pregnancy and I am 34 weeks today. They attributed it to a fryable cervix which does not effect the pregnancy at all just is agravated by all the extra hormones and blood flow associated with pregnancy. It used to freak me out, now it is just part of it and it doesn't bother me too much.
