IVF and acupuncture

Post by 2ndtimer »

Hi Ladies,
I've had 2 IVF cycles & 1 FET, all resulting in BFN even though according to both MD's everything went "perfectly." Now my MD is testing me for a possible clotting d/o, possible endometritis, and has told me I have to do accupuncture.
Has anyone else been getting accupuncture? My next cycle will be a FET probably next month. My MD told me that I need to especially have the accupuncture right before the transfer. I'm hoping someone can let me know what to expect, and also -why is this a good idea?
Thanks,

Accupunture does help. i had heard abt it . it gives more chances of getting pregnant. my ist ivf cycle and FET i didn;t do accupunture. fresh ivf cycle was unsuccessful. but with FET - i did get pregnant-without accupunture. This time was my 2nd ivf cycle.. and i did accupunture. I produced only 6 follicles, but of excellent quality, i transferred 2 blastocyst. i got BFP. So only thing i can say it definately improves the egg quality and more chances of getting pregnant.
good luck..
