Funny odor

Hi ---- I am in the middle of my first IVF cycle. I have a difficult question to ask......I had intercourse w/my DH on Monday night. I had an ultrasound Tuesday morning. By Tuesday night I had a very distinct unpleasant vaginal odor. I still have it today and have some burning as well - as if my ph level is off. I am also very crampy. I go back tomorrow to see if I am ready for my HCG shot.

My 2 questions:
Have you ever heard of anyone having this odor....possible infection issue during IVF?

Is it normal to feel crampy before taking the HCG shot?


I am stimming slowly and only have 6-8 viable follicles at this point. Tonight will be my 10nth day of shots. I am trying to remain hopeful with this IVF but my body is being very uncooperative : (

I appreciate any thoughts........

Good News ----- It turned out I have a latex sensitivity - go figure! My poor body was just reacting.

Today I had my retrieval and they got 13 eggs! A few days ago I only had 6-8 --- It goes to show that anything can happen. We will find out tomorrow if there was fertilization. I am crossing my fingers!

I'm glad they were able to figure out what was causing it! That's great news about egg collection - 13 is great! Good luck with your fert report and transfer!
