Please can anyone help, i have had one failed icsi attempt and am in the process of going through FET, on 9th july i started injecting Suprefact(buserelin acetate). I went for a scan yesterday and was told that my lining was still to thick (sorry to be graphic), therefore i have got to inject for another week before i start on Progynova tablets as well as injecting. I am then due to have et on 15th august. I have read several threads but cannot see anyone else going through the same as me or on the same drugs, i would be very grateful of any replies off anyone who could reassure me that they are going through the same or have been..
Thank you
Nicola x x
Hi Nicola, there are lots of different drugs and some are the same just with different names - please dont worry. I used suprefact injections to down regulate and then also injected menopur to stimulate. Whatever I did it worked (2nd icsi) so just relax - I'm sure you'll be fine.

Best of Luck - love, Jo.XX

Hi Nicola

I had FET last week and I was (and still am) on Progynova (HRT). I started this after they'd scanned my on day 3 of my cycle. I don't know what your condition is, but perhaps as you weren't at the beginning of your natural cycle, so they're supressing you first with Buserelin.

I started on 1, then 2, then 3 Progynovas a day for a couple of weeks, with scans to check the lining thickness. My lining wasn't as thick as they wanted it, so I then went to 4 a day till it was ready (I don't think it's just about thickness, it's also blood flow etc) and have been on it ever since - basically I'm to continue with it till I do the pg test next week. After the et they also put you on the Cyclogest progesterone pessaries of course.

Hope this is of some help.

Nicola M x
