Hi girls, sorry to start the week with some bad news but just spoken to the clinic and they told me it was a negative, so clearly it was just wishful thinking when I thought I had implantation bleeding last week.

In a bizarre way I'm relieved - I was convinced that, as has happened twice before, it would be a low positive, meaning carrying on with medication etc. for a few days and more blood tests, but knowing it wouldn't really work. At least I know where I am (are you impressed by my positive thinking?!)

I'm not sure where we go from here (apart from on holiday which is now my top priority!) I will though be checking up on the JCBs - now let's have lots of positives!

Thanks for all your support and good wishes

Alison x

Hi Alison,
Really sorry to hear it was negative. You sound very strong - although I'm sure you'll need some time to grieve for your loss - and I think planning a great holiday is a good move. This stuff takes over our lives in a way I never really imagined! Take care of yourself, and let us know where you're off to when it's booked.
Thinking of you, Beck x

Oh Alison,

You'll know I'm gutted for you, so I won't dwell on that too much. Sounds like a damn good idea to get a holiday booked and take a break from it all.

I know what you mean about knowing where you stand - after my rollercoaster few months (which I know you don't need me to repeat) I kept thinking a negative isn't the worst thing.

However, I'm absolutely 100% totally and utterly convinced you will get your dream one day - in one way or another, and that PMA will carry you there - and I'll top it up any time you want sweetie :).

Keep in touch and lots of cyber hugs heading your way until the next time we speak (or e-mail)

Lots and lots of love

Fiona xxxxx

Oh Alison I am so very sorry to hear the bad news.
You have been on my mind - and you will remain in my prayers.
The holiday sounds like a good idea.
As for where you go from here - I've given up trying to make decisions for the time being - so I suggest you just try "free wheeling" for a while too! Give yourself time to recover.
Big hugs to you both.
Love from
Lorraine
xxxxx

Alison

I truly don't know what to say, I am so very sorry to hear you bad news, have been logging on all day and refreshing every half an hour to see you posting.

You sound incredibly together, are you?

The holiday idea is excellent, and just what you and DH need (big hugs to both of you), lots of sun, sand and shed-loads of alcohol, be a couple again and then you can decide what you want to do next.

Thank you so so much for recomending Dr Zhu to me too, you really have been a real `buddy', and if I can be there for you at any time please email me - I am only 30 minutes away!

Take care and thinking of you,

D x

Hi Alison

I really thought it had worked for you - so sorry that it hasn't. It's so horrible to go through but you're dead right with the holiday plan. We have to be able to comfort ourselves and I hope you get to go someplace gorgeous to chill out.

Did I read a post that you're at ARGC too? You've got a great attitude, look after yourselves.

Lots of love
Jen xx
