I was lucky enough to have a successful IVF cycle last year which resulted in a little baby girl. I just had another ET done on Thursday, June 14th and I dont feel the same as last year. I felt very bloated last year but I dont know if that is because I had an ER last year. This year I had a frozen egg transfer. Do I not feel bloated because I didn't have an egg retreival this time? We were hoing to give our daughter a sibling and we used the last two embryos we had left with this cycle. I guess I am nervous because I dont feel the same as last year and last year ended with a BFP. Anyone else have the same issue?

Feeling bloated after egg retrieval is a common side effect of ovarian stimulation. Ovaries that are normally the size of limes can swell to the size of oranges or grapefruits, or worse.
You won't have that after a frozen embryo transfer, since there was no ovarian stimulation just prior to it.
Hi Pacific - Last year I had two embryos transferred which resulted in one baby. Last year was not 5 day blastocysts. I don't know all the terminology, but I had my transfer 3 days after my retreival last year. I understand your nerves. Where are you in your cycle?
I have had two stim cycles, and two FETs. After the FETs I pretty much feel nothing at all. The bloating is usually due to the ER, plus the supplemented progesterone can have side effects as well.
You should just feel like you do any other month...
Hope it ends with a +ve!!!
