hello everyone there
happy to join you all. it is two weeks after having tested positive and mynumber was 812.21. They said it may be twins and today we did a scan and they confirmed it is twins. They said one is 5mm and 3mm and both with the same heart beat. It is exciting. But still the number is worrying as they are diffrent sizes. Th doctor you cannot be sure till 12 weeks may be one may supress the other and grow which means i will be left with only one baby. is this number convincing. pls advice. I thought once after getting a positive i am going to sit back and enjoy but it seems every week there is something to worry about. pls help me with your advice AND SUGGESTIONS.

im sorry i cant advice you on this,i just wanted to say,keep the faith,and im sure everything will be fine with your babies.
I was just the same as you, and i thought that after the rollercoaster of IVF treatments,once i got pregnant things would be wonderful and worry free, how wrong was I!!! I'm now 33 weeks and 3 days and i've worried all the way through,but i think as with all IVF pregnancies,this seems to be normal..

Do not worry at all over your beta number. Mine were very low and I am now 19 weeks pregnant with twins. I had 2 scares with very light bleeds once at 8 weeks and once at 12 weeks. Both times I went to my doctors and both babies were fine. I was sent home on bedrest for 48 hours each time. Now I'm having 2 boys!!!
Don't stress...relax...and spend as much time as possible just resting with your feet up.

Congratulations on having twins. Me too!!! My twins have never been the same size yet so don't worry. My boy has always been a little bit bigger than the girl. Hopefully they will always be close in size if never the same. Just relax and enjoy being pg and come join us on the Double Trouble thread for twins.

Thank you everyone there. I have a ultrasound to be done on this friday. Just very excited. In between all this they have diagnosed as gestational diabetes( sorry if i spelled it wrong). I am slightl obese and there is lot of restrictions on what i eat. Eating has become a nightmare for me. Eventhough i say it is for the babies i doing somehow i feel lik crying when i sit to eat. If i dont eat having a lot of nausea. I know i mustnt complain And this is the thing i have been longing for so long. did you feel the same way?. Sometimes i feel very guilty. sorry guys .
