i don't know what happen. i was 3weeks pregnant with IVFand i went for my 4th beta today and they told me there is no pragnancy. i felt like someone pured boiling water over me because i was shocked and i just started cryying and the nurse tryed to calm me down. but i guess there is nothing i can do anymore. i have to believe that everything happens for the best and thank G-d it happened now and not 3,4 or more month ahead because then i would be more devistating. I know i have to be strong for me and for my husband most of all. i hope next time everything will go better. the doctors don't know why this things happen. i was bleeding for a week but when i took my 3rd beta it doubled and was nice but now 4days later (today) i took blood test and they said its gone.
But one thing iam sure of that i will never stop praying and that every women on earth who don't have children should all get pregnant with beautiful and healthy children. we have to be strong and positive.
I am so sorry for your loss the same thing also just happened to me, I was pregnant on the first cycle of IVF and everything was fine with HCG levels, heartbeat was great we even were able to see the baby move and suck his/her thumb at our 10 wk ultrasound, then last week we went to our 12week with our regular Dr out of IVF our first real visit and the baby was dead, I had to have a D&C and it was a huge eye opener and I feel like I learned alot from the experience im still crying about it everyday and im still so confused on why it happend and its a really hard thing to go through, hang in there and count down the days until you can try again!!!!

I was wondering....Natalie, did you have any symptoms before finding out the baby was no longer alive? I'm 11 weeks and to my knowledge everything is going great but, yesterday all of sudden my stomach went down and I don't have much symptoms as I once did. I had a really bad headache yesterday and while in the supermarket I had my blood presure checked and it was a little high. I really felt bad all day yesterday. So now I'm worried.
Hi Leah & Cardenas
M/C is the worst thing a 'mom to be' can experience. I remember last year, when I had my m/c at 12 weeks, there were no symptoms whatsoever! I just had very light spotting, no cramping, no other signs. I called my gynae, she told me not to worry but I still decided to go the ER to get myself checked. My husband was also there with me at ER, we were hoping it's just a sanity check & everything would be fine. That's where my worst nightmare was realized. I cannot explain what we went thru. It seemed like the end of the world, It seemed liked nothing in this world will ever alleviate this pain for me. It seemed like I stopped living for a few days. D&C was another nightmare since they waited 2 days to schedule it & I had contractions the whole night before that.
Having said all this, I can tell you that the pain does reduce.... after some time, the feeling of hope & optimism does kick in....you start hoping for a better, brighter tomorrow and with time, you do start living a normal life....I can only give you courage based on what I have experienced. May God give you the peace & strength... and may you find your arms filled with a little one very soon!!
Regards
Gori

Hi Mattie, based on your symptoms, I don't think you have anything to worry about but do check with your gynae for a quick heart-beat test, so it gives you the peace of mind. Good Luck!! Keep us posted.
