2 WEEK WAIT LADIES (start stimms 7th June cont'd)

Hi everyone our two week wait has arrived so thought I'd start a new thread as the other is getting a little long.

I am 3 days post transfer and feeling really negative..... don't really know why. I haven't really felt like I usually feel, such as every minute feels like a month etc. Its all been passing quite normally, a little too normally and now I simply don't feel like it has worked and can't quite figure out why.

hi ivfmum,
don't lose faith! maybe its just because your a pro at this!

you know the drill and have been thru it a few times... not to say that this one isn't just as important as previously, but you have no reason to be doubtful or truly anxious. I hope that came out the way i meant it to sound. i know its scary anytime, but you have proven this works twice already that i can see ...? Good luck and my fingers are crossed. when is your blood test?

Hi Friends!

I am now officially in the 2ww. I went in for my ET today (5 day transfer) and they transferred 3 embyros - 2 blasts and one that was cavitating. the others hadn't developed into blasts yet so they were going to take them one more day. So, out of my 10 fertilized embryos on day 3 only 3 were good enough to use. I am glad we went the extras couple of days.
I am feeling pretty good today - cautiously optimistic.
the sad part is that my clinic scheduled my beta 2 weeks from tomorrow - July 9th!!! Can I wait that long? I think I may go in on July 6th but we'll see how i am holding up.
HPTs don't even get me excited because I have had 2 chemical pregnancies so a positive doesn't count unless my beta numbers double. So, I guess I'll just have to wait!
Klor, best of luck tomorow on your test!

Kay, I think it si completely normal to have ups and downs during the 2ww but hang in there!!! We are in the home stretch!

IVFMum....don't be discouraged, you well know that every pregnancy is different, so hang in there, please!!!!. As Kelly said, we all have ups and downs in this rollercoaster of the 2ww, I have been positive the whole last week, then this morning I wasn't, now I am, who knows what will happen tomorrow!!!

...........we are all here together in this one!!!

BTW, when is your PT so I can put it in the list???.....

Kelly....congrats on the 3 beautiful embies you transferred today!!!.....ohh, I can't wait until July 9, go before!!!!

IVFMUM... try not to feel blue.. I know everyone does... Everyone tells me you have to think positive thoughts.... Sucks I know... I haven't been feeling that great... Think it is due to the fact my mom was sick yesterday with a tummy thing.... My little man had it today and I actually think I had a little sumthin sumthin too.

Hope everyone is hanging in there. I am feeling pretty unfazed by the whole thing today. It is funny. I usually obsess over every twinge or cramp I get but this time I am not.

I am anxiously awaiting the call from my clinic to tell me if any of the remaining embryos made it to blast. I am not particularly confident but it would be nice to have a couple of backups frozen!

I just got the call -------BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am shaking right now. I don't think I can continue the work day. I am going to leave work and think of an amazing way to share the news with my DH.

I just got back from getting my blood drawn. They said they will call me in next 6-8 hrs with results. I am so nervous.

I just heard back from the lab on my embryos. Apparently of the 6 that they were taking one more day to see if they developed into blasts, three made it - that means that of the 10 fertilized embryos they were able to use/ freeze 6 of them so I am thrilled!!

This is my best round yet so hopefully it works with a BFP just like Klor!!!

I don't know how am I going to make it through this week!!!, with DH we decided we were not going to HPT this time, we want to make something different from the prior cycles to see if it works
