Will i am 34 and very new to all this. My DH is 34. We started 18 month to get pregnant. We both have a problem. We are still waiting for appointments. God it is one very long road and we have no support.
Welcome, please dont feel you have no support there are lots of great people on this site and after 2 years I too am only just getting to the point where we can hopefully start ivf soon.
It is so painfully slow and frustrating so I know exactly what you are going through. I think I have become my consultants worse patient ever, I am forever ringing them trying to have my appointment bought forward.
(well, if you dont ask!)

I am also relatively new to all this! This is the second week of shots (my first IVF attempt), after 2 years trying to get pregnant and 5 unsuccesful IUI.
As Bernie01 tells you, there are lots of great people here.
I wish you every luck in the world and lots of strength.
I know that I do not have much experience to offer you, but I am here, as the rest of the ladies, for everything you would like to say.

please, take it from a person who is really pessimistic! (my DH is the optimistic one!!)
DON'T FEEL FEAR!! Fear makes us weak and I like to think of us as "heroes". Well, heroes overcome fear and are not weak!! So, we must act as the superwomen we actually are and try to believe that we will get what we deserve. Good luck to all of us and we will talk again soon.
On Monday, I am having my first ultrasound, so that we can see if I am suppressed enough to begin stimulation. Wish me luck!!

Hi Nickyz!
I would just like to welcome you to these boards. They have been a huge help to myself over the last 8 months or so and alexprafti has very good advice for you. It is definitely not an easy road that we have all been through but I believe that we will all achieve our goals as long as we don't give up. There are very special children going to be born to us all and I like to believe that we will all appreciate them even more because our strength, courage, determination and faith has been tested. One thing for sure is that we all are SUPER strong. Good luck and keep your chin up and don't let it get you down.
Keep in touch!
Cori
It is very hard at time.
I have not told family or friend about this it is very hard as we have a two year old on my DH side of the family. and when I see her with my hubby it make me cry. To think that it is killing him and me
Put I no someday I hope to have one of my own God welling
Hi Nickyz!
I know just how you feel. My Dh's sister has a baby boy also and it is a very hard situation. I find myself avoiding many situations in which there are babies around. It's probably an unhealthy thing to do but in our situations, I think that it is very important to take care of ourselves first and not to put ourselves in any situation in which we feel uncomfortable.
Good luck to you and always keep the faith.
Keep in touch!

How are you? And I will keep the faith I think I will have to make a phone call as we have not got appointment yet. And I feel that time well past us by.
As I have type 1 Diabtes, Poly systic ovaries and a BMI of 34 it is going down as my BMI was 38.
My DH has a low sperm count. So we are a right pair
Hi Nickyz!
Good to hear from you again. Don't feel bad about continuously calling the clinic. My appointment initially was supposed to be August 1st but I kepyt calling and eventually got an appointment on March 30. It is important to be persistent and the clinics do have cancellations for one reason or another and you could be lucky and get in sooner.
Don't let the BMI thing get you down. Those charts are not always correct. They do not take into account your frame or your muscularity.
I also have polycycstic ovaries and they told me that this is not a huge deal however they did put me on Metformin as they told me that this will help me with ovulatory factors.
Please keep in touch and get that appointment for yourself.
Cori
