I just wanted to bug you and ask a question. I know everyone has been experiencing different symptoms during our IVF journeys but since you and I both have severe Endo I wanted to know what you felt after your transfer. I have been having a lot of pain off and on but now it's pretty steady and on the left side where my ovary is located. I only have that one ovary and the nurse at my RE said that it's normal and most likely because they only had that one ovary to stimulate so it is doing all the work. I asked her if she thought my body might be rejecting the embies and she said no, if anything the pain is because they are trying to implant. I feel so guilty taking my Tylenol 3 but I have needed it to get thru work and the nurse said it's fine.
hey girl! i actually had some cramping in my ovaries (mainly the left side because that was the one that had the most follicles). It helped a lot for me that they drained the cysts a week before the transfer. That gave me so much relief that the cramping in my ovaries after et didn't bother me as bad... although i did take a couple of tylenol 3. oddly enough the cramping in my ovaries was worse a few days AFTER et but i think its becuase of all the fluid in my ovaries and stuff. It has just now gotten a little better and not so sharp. You probably are experiencing worse because your left ovary WAS the only one and its concentrated. I know its hard not to worry but really you probably have a lot of fluid built up in that ovary.
For me the worst part was from 3 days after i started follistem till 3 or 4 days AFter egg ret.
They did my ultrasound today and there is fluid pockets in my ovaries and uterus. she said thats normal.
Also, i have taken off work so i have been resting a lot and havent' been up and going. it would have been harder if i had been getting up and out every day.
I even had some slight cramping that felt like mild menstral cramps on and off, but they said that was completely normal as well.
I hope i have helped sooth your anxiety! I know its nerve racking!

Dixiegal1 - Thanks for your response. You have helped me clarify my symptoms. My RE actually thought he had hit a blood vessel during the ER since I was bleeding heavily. Later that day, I passed what looked like either a endometrial cyst sac or clot. I'm sure that's what caused me all the pain after the ER.
My pain has gotten better this weekend so now I'm worried that the embies didn't take. I just have to wait and see. I have tried to do everything I can to make this happen so now it's out of our hands. The accupuncture has definetely been helping.
I'm glad you are doing well. I wish you all the best.
have you had any prego symptoms? how long since your transfer? I'd say its good your feeling better. how long has it been since your transfer?

Dixiegal1- I had my day 3 retrieval on 6/22 and my transfer on 6/25. I have had cramping on the left side and some sharp pains in the middle, headaches, lower backaches, sore boobs and constipation. I have had no spotting yet. Did you have spotting?
I don't want to do an hpt because I would hate to get a false positive or negative.
