SAD, SAD DAY..........

Post by FREERICH »

This is our third transfer and we just got the call that we are not pregnant. My wife is 42 and we have tried twice on our own and now with a donor. The donor provided us with 24 eggs and we have 15 frozen for future trys. Man does it feel hopeless.

Free...I am really sorry. It does hurt so much. You have a large numbers of embies. I am sure one or two (or more) of them are going to be your children.

TTCnumber1...perhaps you should reconsider advising people "if it is god's will..." it is particularly offensive to those of us struggling. You are basically implying God has chosen to keep myself and other people childless.

free i'm really sorry for your loss. Its hard to keep trying but you just never know and children really are priceless.
samara1 i think ttcnumber was just trying to offer some comfort her own way. I'm sure she in no way meant to imply god would purposely keep someone childless. obviously she had trouble trying to concieve as well and was offering some words that may have comforted her.

Free - I am so sorry about your recent disappointment. I can truly empathize with the heartache you must be feeling right now. I am 36 and will be 37 in August. DH is 34, 35 in October. We have been thru 3 early m/c's all before 8 weeks and a chemical pg. We just did our first IVF with PGD (but the PGD got cancelled because we only had 2-3 developing embryos by day 2) and did a Day 3 transfer which resulted in a BFN. We are now moving onto DE. Hugs to you and your wife. The statistics and odds of using a DE are very high and since you have many frozen embies I think you still should have alot of hope and faith that an FET cycle will bring you success!! I hear that the odds of frozen donor embies are just as high as a fresh donor cycle, so PLEASE don't give up hope!!

Our fresh donor egg cycle isn't until September/October. I'd be more than happy to wait and share the company if you'd like to PM me or chat in this thread.

Actually.. no SAMARA!!!!! I wasn't implying that..
I was in the same situation..I tried for 6 years with no pregnancy.. so mind your own business.. You don't know what I've been through.. and I am entitled to my own opinion.. I believe if its in God's will then it will happen.. If you don't believe that then too bad for you..Thats MY OPINION!!

Thank you dixiegal for understanding.. You read it exactly as it was intended to be.... I did struggle.. and God has finally blessed us..

and will finally bless those that continue to believe.. I hope an FET works for you FREERICH.. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

and also.. Freerich.. if I offended you in anyway I am sorry.. I do understand what you are going through. I went through the infertility struggle myself and just recently was blessed.. You too will be.. Just don't give up hope!!

FreeRich - I'm so sorry. How devastating. But hope is always alive - just believe it will happen. God's delays are not his denials. I hope and pray we all get to have our children and I hope one of your frosties will be the joy and miracle of your lives.
