Ghost- spotting before blood test?

I am 10dp3dt and have had several positive hpts. I went for b/w this morning and am waiting for the result. Last night, when I wiped, I saw a little brown spotting. It was gone when I woke up, but now is back. It is just a little. I am on progesterone injections and estrogen. I have had one chemical pregnancy and one miscarriage. Do you think spotting is common? Or is it usually ominous?

I had this the day before my blood test and feaked. I was using the progesterone pessaries (they are so lovely) and estrogen tablets. Anyway, I ended up with a BFP which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage last week at nearly 11 weeks.
What I am saying that the blood you have seen is old blood and does not necessarily mean anything bad, it is not uncommon to see this in early pregnancy.

Thanks Figi- I had my first beta yesterday (Tues.) It was 103, which my doctor was happy with. I have another tomorrow, so of course we are hoping it doubles. I thought I had stopped spotting, but it came back this afternoon- it's just a little brown when I wipe, but I did get one bright pink spot yesterday afternoon- that was the last until this afternoon. I'm on the progesterone shots and they upped my dosage. I'm hoping for the best, and your post helped me- I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. What are you doing now?
