I had my ET last Friday and I feel very different this time- this is my second IVF cycle. Starting about 6 hours after my transfer I had the feeling of mild menstrual cramps that continued off and on all day Saturday. Sunday was not much of anything - just a few sharp pains - when I was trying to be careful getting out of bed, which I believe is still my ovaries reacting from the ER surgery. I went back to work on Monday and I had mild cramping again. On Tuesday and today, I've been fine in the morning, but by the end of the day, I have mild pain in my ovaries - really just my left side, but the more concerning part is I feel pressure and aching down there - by the pelvic bone - similar to the feeling I get the first day of my period. With my last cycle, I didn't have any of this.
Should I call my doctor? I'm guessing they are just going to tell me that my ovaries are still sore from the surgery. I've also heard the progesterone can cause some of the pains. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
