I have used Gonal F twice i love it, i made much better embies with it (used Follistim before) with me i started my Gonal (450 in two injections...ooo that's 2x225 not 2x450...LOL)and after 5 days i had to go for my first follie scan and stim blood work...thats an internal scan to check how your follies are growing they measure and count them and they check your E2 level the amount of E2 and number of follies should match...not sure about your clinic (ask them) but my clinic like me to have about 150 of E2 per mature follie so by day 10 if i have 10 follies at 18> then my blood work should be 1500 ...does that make sense ?
it's not a deffinate so dont go counting and thinking you have less than you have you can drive yourself nuts with it...it's used as a guide
anyway rambling on sorry....so it goes
start Gonal F
Day 5 blood work and scan...depending on results you should either go everyday or every other day for another scan and blood test until your follies are of the right size and your blood work say's your ready that is usually around day 10 but ive seen lady's stim for longer....
about starting you on 75 units im guessing your in your 20's right? they usualy give us more mature wanna be mums higher doses im almost 40..also i think they go from your FSH test what was yours?...mine was 6.5 if yours was low they dont want you to over stimm

Thanks again for the reply and such helpful info! I am 27 years old. My FSH was 2.98.
I had both tubes removes 2 weeks ago due to one being blocked and hydrosalpinx on the left. Also had ovary drilling because I have polysistic ovaries but not pcos.
