Hi everyone ...i am new to this site.....i am going through ivf and they did my ultrasound today ...they said there are 19 follicles....2 in left and 17 in right ovary.....they are concern if i have polycystic ovary,,,i asked nurse if eggs are good size and she would not say nothing...donno what will happen,,,,i am due for another ultrasound on friday....i hope all the best for everyone here...if anyone has any info about eggs kindly let me know
mina, i also had that amount of follies during my first IVF, and was told i have PAO(polycistic appearing ovaries). all this means is that they have to be careful at monitoring you not to overstimulate. they lowered my dose after 3rd ultrasound check, and i stimmed for total of 10 days. they retrieved 24 eggs, and i didn't overstimulate. just drink plenty of water, and eat lots of protein.
