Low Amniotic Fluid

Post by rebecca79 »

All,

I had my routine, monthly Level II ultrasound yesterday. At 25 weeks both baby A and baby B are weighing in at 1 lb 9ozs which the perinatologist thought was great. Both babies are in their own sacs and have their own placenta's.

Only one problem, baby A is a little low on amniotic fluid. The doctor said she doesn't think it is a problem and if this were a singleton pregnancy it is just a tad low and she wouldn't worry at all, but because the last ultrasound showed them both with the same amount of fluid she wants to watch me carefully.

I'm a nervous wreck. What could this be from. How am I ever going to sleep for the next 2 weeks. Please has anyone experienced this. Am I overreacting. The doctor seemed very unconcerned, but just wanted to double check. I'm terrified that she is just not telling me everything.

Any info/stories would be great!
