We had our first attempt at IVF a couple of months ago. I responded well to the drugs, too well in fact, producing 26 eggs..... 23 have gone on to become embryos (!) but the doctor's advised freezing them as the amount of eggs I had presented a risk of OHSS.
So I didn't have any put back, and went on to develop mild OHSS anyway.
I had a period 11 days after my egg collection.
We were advised to wait another complete cycle (which is where we are now), then attempt a natural cycle FET on the following one.
So at present we're waiting for this period to start so that we can arrange scans etc. for the FET process to begin.
However, I'm now day 40 of this cycle, and still no show of my period.
We've done a pregnancy test, but unfortunately it's negative.
I normally have a cycle length of 35 days.
Does anyone have any experience of cycles being longer or delayed following egg collection or mild OHSS ?
