We are new to this message board, we often looked and have now decided to join one because we are moving forward w/ IVF.
My husband and I live in Oklahoma City, OK. I am in my early 30s and my husband is in his mid 30s. We have just started seeing Dr. Reshef who is in the top 5% nationally and has a success rate for my age bracket of 64% and 42% result in twins. We feel very lucky to be so close to a great doctor.
We have been w/o birth control for almost 10 years. I have been pregnant twice. One being a tubal pregnancy resulting in the removal of my tube. Our 2nd pregnancy we were not sure where it was because I was only about 3 wks along. It was failing and so we decided to have the shot to help it dissolve.
We are more settled in our life so have decided and after several doctor visits to start IVF. In Sept. we will start the birth control to help surpress my ovaries and then I am sure you all know the next step from there.
I am scared/excited/positive/negative all at one time.
My husbands one question is is there a list for all these abbreviations everyone uses. It drives him nuts he has know idea what people are saying.
I hope to chat w/ you all soon and get some good advice, words of wisdom and words of support.

Did you find that list of abrev?? I would suggest to print it.There are so many words....that's what i did.lol
I'm Anie,31 and dh(dear husband) is 33.Im portuguese but living in london(uk).
My first cycle was in July/august that ended up with 6 eggs but none of them fertilised.
I should start next cycle in sep/october so we might be buddies.
I let you know when i will start my cycle.

Hello, I am sorry it has taken me this long to reply to you. I have been busy w/ the summer and everything it brings.
I am waiting for my Sept. period to start so we can get started w/ everything. We had to attend IVF classes through our doctors office & hospital. Which really made things more real for us and really made us realize the time and commitment it takes to do this.
How many times have you been through IVF? This is our first and I am very scared. I think I am more freaked out about the end results than anything good or bad.
