AF late after IVF - Ghost /Anyone

Ghost,

My first Ivf cycle failed & got AF immediately, after that cycle, now I am past due for my period & still no signs of it. Is it normal does the IVF cycle mess up the natural mentrual cycle ?
Also since past 2 weeks I am on Metformin, is this also contributing to my longer cycles???

Anyone been through this please respond, I appreciate u replying.

Hi.

I am.....i mean, i was in similar situation.This is.....was....my first IVF and failed.My AF came 4 days late so i think it is normal that yours be late as well.

The exact same thing happened to me just now, had a failed IVF, had AF right away, and the next cycle I was late for a week (normally I have 28 day cycles)........needless to say I was all excited thinking I might be pg, but it seems that our bodies play this little games with us :roll:

Hi Mybaby

I am in the same situation as you. We have done isci and had no fertilisation due to only a few sperm found in boipsy and they were abnormal. After my ivf cycles all my AF's have been late ever since. Sometimes by week and other times by two weeks. I used to have a 28 day cycle to the day. I guess it takes a while for the meds to get out of your system.

How are you? I am having the same experience as you. AF came the day after the failed IVF. Now a month later, AF is 3 days past due and no signs, and I'm usually very regular...I don't remember this happening last time - so I'm just waiting. Glad to know I'm not the only one waiting...

How r u, I am doing ok...just waiting for the crazy AF to start. Nice to see u...
Did u get any answers from ur RE as to y it didnt happen ? mine said there is nothing that he can pin point to...so I hope 2nd time is the charm...
