Progesterone tablets after embryo transfer.

Post by ARG »

Hi, Can anyone put my mind at rest. I have started with the progesterone tablets following my embryo transfer yesterday. I understand that they are to help line the wall of my womb but although I have taken them before bed and lay down for 30 minutes when taken in the morning, there seems to be a white substance that keeps leaking out. Sorry too much information. I am just scared that it isnt doing its job correctly. Can anyone advise. Angela

Hi Angela

I asked the exact same question to my consultant and he said it was completely normal, and not to worry because enough is getting to where it should be! Good luck with your BFP - I have had transfer today so have just started the dreaded 2ww!

I have used the proges. suppositories 3 times a day in the past, and this has happened to me also, I was told that this is to be expected and was even told that I may want to use a panty liner...

Hi there,

I am using a gel not a tablet, and I have been told to walk around for 10 minutes after putting it in the "spread it around".
