hi ladies my name is tammy, i am 34 i have remarried and my hubby is 25. we are looking to start a family together, but i had my tubes tied so we have to do ivf. does anyone out there know if there is any coverage for ivf. we live in las vegas nv.

Each state and each ins. policy is different. I would suspect since your tubes are tied that is considered a preexisting condition adn they probably will not cover IVF--but i could be way wrong too. The best thing to do is to call your ins company and talk to them.
I too had my tubes tied after my son was born 10 years ago--had them untied (we had to pay 6000 as ins didn't cover) in 2001 and found out shortly there after that they closed back up. So we saved for awhile and then 2nd morgaged our home and did IVF as our ins didn't cover that either. I am happy to say we have a perfect 3 month old son thanks to IVF.
