Hello,
My name is Vlada and I just got my BFP recently, my due date is May 1st, so I would like to start a new thread for May babies. Come on in and join the fun!!!!

Hell Vlada (and everyone!!)

I just got my BFP today!!!!!!!!!!! I'm due 7th May 2008! I'm so relieved, but still worried about ectopic after I had one last year (from natural conception).

My blood test results came literally 30 minutes ago and I'm still in shock! My HCG was 535. Sounds quite high? Could it be two!?!? (I had 2 good blasto's put back).

Anyway I look forward to getting the pregnancy confirmed!!!!

Robinson nice to meet you, what day post transfer did you get your test done? I had a 3dt and tested 13dpt my hCG was 521

Vlada glad we can be board mates again. You should get a kick out of this, I have no more BW and they can't get me in for my U/S until Sept 18 I'm not having any problems but I think I am going to HPT again this weekend just to make sure that it still says positive how pathetic am I, since I know you bought stock maybe you could just overnight me the 20 I know you still have laying around JUNKIE hahahaha

My due date is May 2! I am so excited I just want to see whats going on in there I am still having a hard time believing it's true.

Hi there Aliann!

You'll have to bear with me I don't know all the terminology etc!

My test was today. I had collection on the 15th August and blasto transfer on the 20th. Not sure if that's a 5 or 6 day transfer? (do you count the collection day as day 1 or day 0?). Had test today so 10 days after transfer.

I'm not due to have any more blood tests now. They just booked me in for a day 35 scan. That's 35 days after collection so 19th September.

I've got another 3 weeks to wait...I wish I could have a blood test every other day or so to make sure things are ok. When I was pregnant last year they may have caught my ectopic earlier if I had been monitored more closely.

So do gals do hpt's to make sure the emby is still there? I was sooo tempted to do one this week but I managed to refrain because of what everyone was saying on here about them being evil etc!

Robin, Ok so it looks like you did a 5day transfer (5dt) and you tested today so that would be 10 days post transfer (10dpt) so I think 535 is a high number for 10days it is definatly a strong number. So really when you do the math our cycles end up about the same from retreval to Pregnancy test I think mine was 16 days and yours was 15 days. I too don't have anymore bloodwork and I get my U/S 1 day before you on the 18th and can't wait. I don't know if people actually continue to HPT I was joking with Vlada because we were on a 2WW board together and she was a HPT junkie its all her fault that I caved and HPTed

But I think it would at least show if the line was still dark or light but then I might get weirded out if it was dark but I thought that it was light so I should just suck it up and wait the 3weeks!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!I am so glad that you have joined me!!!!! Also i can't believe you only get one blood test!?!? I had my first beta last thursday , it was 12dp3dt and the number was 85, then 4 days later i had another one and it was 561, yesterday it was 1700 and i am going again tomorrow, they also check my progesterone and estrogen every time they check my beta and my first US is sep5th, soooooo i can only imagine what you guys must be going through without knowing what is going on!!!!
Aliann, sorry, i have used up all of my HPTs , otherwise i would mail you some

Robin, your beta doesn't sound like ectopic

at all, but it is kinda high, twins may be???

So goofy, I am at 6 weeks, 0 days, but I had to "tweak" my ticker and "due date" to get the ticker to show 6 weeks, and not 5 w 6 D.
Oh dear, it doesn't matter, it's just one of those emotional milestones!

Thank you for your kind words, i am excited about my beta , we will see tomorrow though... Oh and i forgot to tell you guys, i got in the car accident yesterday, stupid girl backed into me , i was soooo pissed, mainly because i just got a brand spanking new car 2 days ago, ohhhh soooo mad

, i am doing fine though, i got some cramping today and yesterday, nothing too major.
So, that is my story.
I hope everyone is doing fine!!!!!

Hi Gals,

I'm having my treatment at Bourne Hall in Cambridge UK, which is the centre set up by Patrick Steptoe and Robery Edwards - the guys that pioneered IVF. I'm lucky enough to live only a 30 minute drive away from the centre.

I think I'd like to have some blood tests before now and my scan on the 19th just to put my mind at ease. It's another waiting game! I guess the doctors at the clinic don't feel it's necessary...just a case of whatever will be will be now they've done their bit.

I need to go to the clinic tomorrow to get some more progesterone gel, so I may ask them about the blood tests and see what they say.

I still can't quite believe it's worked...I'll feel much better once I've seen the little emby(s) for myself.

Take it easy girls!!!

V-sorry about your car! What a fright...esp. being preggers and all...glad you are OK (poor car though).

A: Seriously, they didn't do a second Beta to see if the #s had doubled? That's standard...I think you should push them, needle them a bit. I'm a big believer in the Squeaky Wheel philosophy. IT WORKS!

Vlad I can't believe that some chick hit you I would have FREAKED out new car and new baby she would have gotton an ear full!

Robin let us know what the doctors say about you testing. I made it over to the UK earlier this year in March I had a great time well except for London the people there were not real friendly to busy I suppose thank god I only went there a few days and stayed in Colchester wonderful town, we also visited, Chedder, Cowbridge, and Bath also spent a week in Wales.

Hi Ladies,

can I join you? I never thought I'd ever get here so am excited to join!! I'm due on 5th May - ET 18th August, 5 day transfer. beta on day 14 426.1 and on day 16 1,083...could be twins?? I now have to wait until 14th September for the scan. I'm also tempted to go out an buy a case of HPT's as I'm scared my embies will go away!! what symptoms does everyone have?

Vlada, we were on the April cycle thread together - we were obvioulsy a little later than our thread mates but we got there in the end!

A, Vlada: How are you all feeling?

Poor Mina sounds like she got REALLy socked with morning sickness ... but one of her messages mentioned she'd gotten some medicine and it helped.
