Bless your heart. My morning sickness didn't start until about my 8th week. But it sounds exactly like what you are experiencing. I am almost 15 weeks now and it is beginning to subside (though some women stop around week 12, so please don't go by my experience). You need to be careful though to make sure that you are eating at least a little bit of something so that there is enough nourishment for your baby (I know, easier said than done). I also found it less painful to throw up if there was something in my stomach. The dry heaves were the worst. I spoke to my RE about my condition and I really suggest that you do the same if you can. My doctor prescribed a drug called Zofran. It is considered safe to take while pregnant. It was originally given to cancer patients I believe to help them get through the awful nausea that is associated with chemo therapy. It worked wonders for me! I still felt a bit nauseas at times, but not nearly what I felt before. And the vomiting was just about gone. Overall, it helped me get through my days. (I still couldn't stand the sight of raw meat ect., but that goes away eventually too). I feel for you Mina, I really really do. But remember what they say: "a sick mommy is a sign of a healthy baby". I honestly don't know if that is true, but it was my mantra and it helped me get through this.
I also felt really guilty about complaining about the morning sickness. I mean, here I was FINALLY pregnant after all these years, and I was completely miserable. If you are feeling that way too, I understand. Remember that it is okay to complain.
There are other tips about how to handle morning sickness. They say to keep a few salty crackers next to your bed. When you wake in the morning, eat a few very slowly a few minutes before you rise out of bed. The experts also suggest that you don't drink any liquids with your meals (I couldn't do that one). Also try to stay as hydrated as possible. I found one of the fun side effects of throwing up all the time was that I became dehydrated...and then constipated, which just added more fun to the party.
Good luck and please discuss your condition with your doctor. I hope you feel better soon.
