8th time and BFP !!!

Post by Still trying »

HI everyone.
Just to share my amazing news with you. On our 8th attempt we have just got a BFP !!!

Last night we were in deisbelief, today I just keep crying.
There is hope for you all. This has taken 9 years, several ops, 7 ivf and our last one was ICSI. Thanks for all your support, I know I haven't been on for ages, I have been trying to keep my mind of it - looks like it worked !!

Love Leanne x

still trying.....that is absolutely amazing news!!!!! congratulations! i was only saying today that i feel like 2 IVFs have done me in but that i take my hat off to people going through it again and again and again....thats really something else. and i think with every BFN, that BFP seems so much more special! i'm sure it hasnt sunk in yet but it will. when's your first scan?? and did you have your beta done???

anyway, the best for the next 8 months and well done! i'm so very happy for you!!!

hi

Post by Still trying »

Thank you all for your knd messages. Just come back from hospital and they don't do blood tests there / beta test. They said my 3 home preg tests were conclusive.

I have a scan in 3 weeks which will make me 7 weeks.

Just told all our lose family and they have n't taken it in either, the whole family are walking round in a bubble of amazement.

Don't give up faith girls. It is worth it. Also just to let you know , I took it really chilled out this time. I have a new job that is really stessful and I was worried it might affectme but it took my mind off the whole treatment. I also carried my 1 year old nephew around loads, cleaned the house and did all the normal things and this is the time it worked. So try and chill out and be as normal as possible.

:D
