When was everyone able to hear their babie's heartbeat? Has anyone seen a heartbeat show up later than 7 wks? Yesterday I was seven weeks exactly, and the doctor could see that the yolk sac had developed, but still could not see a fetus or a heartbeat. He is still holding out some hope. Our numbers are also still increasing at a good rate. Is there any hope for us?

Keep the hope! Your doctor knows best on this one... wait for his call or try to contact him yourself. He will have the best answer to this question and the other possiblities which can be causing your beta's to increase without a detectable heartrate.
