Jane, how many tries did it take before you got pregnant? I am asking because we did our first time on Sunday and I had produced 4 large eggs of which he felt 3 would ovulate and he had 31 mil sperm produced, not sure what the percent of abnormal was. Anyways, my doctor felt like we had a good chance this month.

Hi Stephjim,

We had one IUI with HCG and extra progesterone. I ovulated naturally and there were two eggs. When it failed the doctor said that they would do the exact same thing next time as there was no reason why it shouldn't work.

The second IUI was cancelled at the last minute as they said the egg grew too quickly (again natural ovulation) and much to our amazement we got a natural BFP on that cycle.

I wish you all the luck in the world with your IUI. We were devastated when the first one didn't work but luckily for us miracles happen :D Hope that you'll get that BFP too :D

Take care,

Jane
